Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Steel Realm.

We want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains how to cancel an order, return an item, or request a refund. For any questions regarding returns, replacements, or refunds, please contact us at sales@steelrealm.com.

Order Cancellations (Before Shipping)

You may cancel your order at any time before it ships at no charge.

How to request a cancellation:

  1. Email us as soon as possible at sales@steelrealm.com with the subject line "Cancellation Request – Order #[your order number]."
  2. Include your order number and the reason for cancellation.
  3. We will respond within 1 business day to confirm whether your order has been canceled or has already shipped.

Important: Cancellations are accepted only before the order ships. Once your order has shipped and you've received a tracking number, the cancellation window has closed and the order will need to be processed as a return (see below) once you receive it. We process orders quickly — orders placed before 12:00 PM CT on business days may begin processing the same day, so please contact us promptly if you need to cancel.

If your cancellation is approved before shipment, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 3–5 business days.

Returns – Customer Remorse (Changed Mind, Wrong Item Ordered)

We accept returns for customer remorse (you changed your mind, ordered the wrong item, or the product wasn't what you expected) under the following conditions:

Eligibility:

  • Item must be returned within 30 calendar days of the tracking showing "delivered."
  • Item must be in new, unused condition with all original packaging, tags, and accessories intact.
  • Used, damaged (by the customer), or modified items are not eligible for a remorse return.

How to initiate a return:

  1. Email sales@steelrealm.com with your order number and the reason for return.
  2. We will respond within 2 business days with a Return Authorization (RA) and return shipping instructions.
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it to the address provided in your RA.
  4. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will issue your refund.

Return shipping: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs on remorse returns. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in return transit.

Restocking fee: None. We do not charge a restocking fee on eligible remorse returns.

Refund details:

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 3–5 business days of inspection.
  • Original shipping costs (if any were paid) are non-refundable.
  • Refunds cover the cost of the returned product only.

Exchanges

We accept same-item exchanges only (for example, a different size, color, or finish of the same product) at no additional charge, subject to product availability.

For any other exchange (a different product entirely), please return the original item under our remorse return policy and place a new order for the item you'd like.

To request a same-item exchange, email sales@steelrealm.com with your order number and the variant you'd like to exchange for. We'll confirm availability and provide instructions.

Returns – Defective, Incorrect, or Damaged Products

If you received a product that is defective, damaged, or different from what you ordered, we'll make it right.

Eligibility:

  • Item must be returned within 30 calendar days of the tracking showing "delivered."
  • Photos or documentary proof of the defect, damage, or incorrect item must be provided.
  • Item must be returned in the condition it was received, with all original packaging and accessories.

How to initiate a return:

  1. Email sales@steelrealm.com within 30 days of delivery, with:
    • Your order number
    • A description of the issue
    • Clear photos showing the defect, damage, or incorrect item
  2. We will respond within 2 business days with a Return Authorization (RA) and return shipping instructions.
  3. Pack the item securely and ship it back using the prepaid return label we provide (see below).
  4. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your replacement or refund.

Return shipping: Steel Realm covers return shipping costs for defective, damaged, or incorrect items. We will provide a prepaid return shipping label.

Restocking fee: None. We do not charge a restocking fee on defective, damaged, or incorrect item returns.

Refund details:

  • We will issue either a replacement of the same item (subject to availability) or a full refund including original shipping costs, at your preference.
  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 3–5 business days of inspection.

Damage in shipping: If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please also keep all packaging materials. We may need photos of the packaging to file a claim with the carrier.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange, except in the case of a verified defect, damage, or incorrect item:

  • Custom or personalized items (engravings, custom orders, made-to-order pieces)
  • Items marked "Final Sale" or "Clearance" at the time of purchase
  • Gift cards
  • Items returned without a Return Authorization (RA)
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
  • Items that have been used, modified, sharpened, displayed in a way that caused wear, or otherwise altered from their original received condition

How Refunds Are Processed

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 3–5 business days. Depending on your bank or credit card issuer, it may take an additional 2–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

If you have not received your refund within 14 business days of approval, please contact your bank first, then reach out to us at sales@steelrealm.com.

Right to Reject Returns

Steel Realm reserves the right to reject any return, replacement, or refund request that does not meet the conditions outlined in this policy, including:

  • Returns received without a valid Return Authorization
  • Returns received outside the 30-day window
  • Items returned in used, modified, or damaged condition (other than a verified manufacturer defect)
  • Items not eligible under the Non-Returnable Items section above

In such cases, the item may be returned to the customer at the customer's expense, or held for pickup arrangements.
